Florida Center for Innovation at Tradition
Florida Governor Jeb Bush joined Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies (TPIMS) Founder and President Dr. Richard Houghten, Florida Senator Ken Pruitt and a host of dignitaries and community leaders to make the announcement (TPIMS) is relocating its corporate headquarters to a new 100,000-square-foot facility in Tradition.
The decision by Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies to expand into Florida further establishes our state as a hub for advanced biomedical research and commercialization, said Bush. This move will have a significant impact on the local economy while continuing to build upon a growing life sciences sector in Florida. I wish Torrey Pines great success from its new home here in Florida for many years to come.
From the beginning, one of the aspects of the Tradition masterplanned community that has set it apart has been a focus on job creation and economic development - the concept that Tradition would be more than just homes, but would also create opportunities for high-paying, quality jobs.
